Pro golfer Rickie Fowler doesn’t drink and is a regular at the PGA Tour’s weekly Bible study events. You’ll find him there with other pros like Webb Simpson, Ben Crane and Bubba Watson. Fowler carries his faith onto the course as well. During the Ryder Cup, he marked his golf balls with Bible verses.
As the 2015 season gets in full swing with the Masters, Quicken Loans announced, beginning today, the mortgage company is sponsoring Fowler, the flashy PGA Tour star, who is known as much for his golf game as he is for his distinctive style and outlandish antics off the course.
Last year, Quicken Loans joined the world of golf by becoming the title sponsor of the Quicken Loans National. They also gave a year’s worth of mortgage payments to 17 lucky golf fans in the Hole-In-One Sweepstakes and became the official mortgage provider of the PGA TOUR.
You will see the Quicken Loans logo on Rickie’s golf bag starting at this weekend’s Masters Tournament, and Rickie will serve as a Quicken Loans spokesman all season.
Quicken Loans’ President Jay Farner said, “Rickie is a perfect fit to represent our energetic company and a great partner as we continue to launch exciting experiences for our clients!”
